What a flight...

The BEL-1 team Bob Berben/Benoît Siméons is still in competition, with a distance of 4225 km on the counter. It is the second time that a Belgian team brings the Coupe Gordon Bennett back to Europe. We think it will take years to snatch this record away from Bob and Benoît!

In Europe it is impossible to fly these distances and it is even going to be tough to break this record when the Coupe starts in Albuquerque.
A tip for the American Balloon Federation: when the Coupe goes back to America, maybe you should look for a starting location near the West coast ... !?
