Gas balloon contest on WAG is cancelled

We much regret to inform you that the gas balloon contest planned to take place as part of the World Air Games is cancelled. The Turin Local Organising Committee was not able to obtain the necessary official clearances in time to allow the event to proceed. The FAI Executive Board regrets that the organisers are unable to fulfil their original commitments in this respect. It was however confirmed that the hot air event will proceed as planned.
