General Information

Next week-end, hopefully, the balloons will be in the air at this time..
In few days, gas balloons from 9 countries will take off in an intense moment of emotion and will fly over Europe...

Arc et Senans has organised a big event around the Gordon Bennett Race and the hot air balloons will take off on Saturday afternoon from the inside of the saline Royale.. Followed in the evening by the gas balloons take off.

will be organized on two days to allow the teams adequate time for travel.
Thursday, 11 from 11:00 am to 19:00
Friday, 12 morning, from 9:00 to 13:00
All the teams have already received in a separated mail the information concerning accommodation .

Welcome party : 19:00

Saturday, 13 :

10:00 : Gordon Bennett Briefing
17:00 : Take off of the hot air balloons fiesta
19:00 : Gordon Bennett Briefing
Evening : Gordon Bennett Take off
After take off : Night glow

Sunday, 14 :

8:00 : Hot air balloon fiesta flight
and so on....

September 20 :

Awards Banquet and Closing Ceremony
