Greg Winker had informed us that he wanted to take off at 6:00 with N8068A, a Rosière type balloon, built by Cameron in Bristol (1990). This flight would be the third one of this balloon (so these flights are very unique!).
To avoid the mountains around Albuquerque the balloon would be launched from Moriarty airport, south of Albuquerque.
It took the crew a bit longer to prepare everything, but at 7:00hr the balloon finally was aloft, accompanied by a gorgeous sunrise.

The aim of this flight ... to break the duration and distance records for AM-03, two records held by Troy Bradley with 27hr25' and 568 km (October 22, 1999).
Good luck, Greg!
